Myths of Maui Luau - General Admission: What to Expect
Luau Experience & Itinerary
Your evening at the Myths of Maui Luau begins with a warm aloha greeting and a traditional lei welcome as you arrive at the oceanfront Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows. The festivities kick off with the captivating Imu Ceremony, where you'll witness the ancient tradition of unearthing the Kalua Pua'a - a whole pig slow-cooked in an in-ground oven - a centerpiece of authentic Hawaiian culture. From there, guests enjoy an all-you-care-to-eat buffet featuring a generous spread of traditional island fare, paired with complimentary tropical cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the evening. As the sun sets over the Pacific, the stage comes alive with the legendary Polynesian production - a vibrant journey through the South Pacific told through the dances and drums of Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa, and the Maori people of New Zealand. The show builds to a spine-tingling crescendo with the awe-inspiring Samoan fire knife finale, leaving guests breathless. This 5-hour celebration of culture, cuisine, and performance is the perfect family-friendly evening on Maui.
